Avison Young hires London project management head

Avison Young has hired Sam Orwin from Gleeds as managing director of London project management. Orwin led Gleeds’ project management team in London for the past two years, prior to which he held senior positions at Cushman & Wakefield and Lendlease. Avison Young’s project management work in the capital includes 21 Moorfields, the Salisbury Square development and Ikea’s 214 Oxford Street. Steven Mason, who joined Avison Young to lead the project management business earlier this year, will now step into a new role as managing director of the building and project consultancy for London.
