treeFruit farm is pick of the lots

A fruit farm with mature orchards of apple, pear and plum trees is to be offered at Symonds & Sampson’s 13 October sale at the Guild Hall, Axminster. The farm, in Stoke Abbott, Devon, is guided at £495,000 and includes a three-bedroom house and 24.7 acres of land.

75% success in Sussex

Auction House Sussex raised £1.7m from an eight-lot catalogue at its 8 September sale at Clarendon Villas Church, Hove. The top lot was a 2,930 sq ft building with three shops with flats above and offices/workshop in Brighton, which sold for £1.2m – a gross 4.5% yield. The success rate was 75%.

Chalet hangs on for sale

A cliffside chalet above Whitsand Bay, near Torpoint, Cornwall, is included in Countrywide Property Auctions’ latest catalogue. Guided at £200,000, the two-bedroom property is to be offered on 22 September at Sandy Park Stadium, Exeter.

Mark Jenkinson & Son achieved a 72% success rate at its 6 September sale at Sheffield United FC, raising £2.5m from 39 lots.

High aspirations in Holloway

A long leasehold roof space in Holloway, N7, with the potential to build a self-contained flat, subject to planning consent, is being offered by Andrews & Robertson, guided at £15,000.

The sale takes place on 22 September at the Grand Connaught Rooms, WC2.
