A freehold retail parade on Penge High Street in south London, comprising 12 shops with 18 flats above, is being offered at Allsop’s next commercial sale on 10 October at The Berkeley, SW1.

The income is £307,345 pa and the guide price is £4.5m-plus.


Emson sales make £16.5m

Clive Emson sold £16.5m of land and property at its September sales.

Across its five sites, 138 lots were auctioned, with a 75% success rate.

Properties included a three-storey former music venue in Gillingham, Kent, which sold for £370,000 off a guide of £200,000 to £220,000.


Shonki sells Leicester library

A former library in Thurmaston, near Leicester, sold for £132,000 off an £85,000 guide at the Shonki Brothers’ 21 September auction at Leicester Racecourse.

Overall, the sale raised £2.1m from 21 lots, with an 86% success rate.


Symonds & Sampson sell 91%

Symonds & Sampson raised £4m at its 23 September sale at Digby Hall, Sherborne.

Of 21 lots offered, 19 sold – a 91% success rate.
