Graham Penny sale hits 86%

SDL Graham Penny sold 30 of 35 lots offered, a success rate of 86%, and raised £1.9m in its sale at Nottingham Racecourse on 2 February. A semi-detached house in West Bridgford, Nottingham, generating £35,340 pa, sold prior for an undisclosed sum.


Digs to replace Kent car park

A car park in Gillingham, Kent, is being offered with planning approval for 68 student bedrooms and eight common rooms in a four-storey building at Andrews & Robertson’s sale on 22 February. The auction will be held at the Montcalm Hotel, W1.


Acuitus serves Hampstead pub

A pub in Hampstead, NW6, guided at £4.1m is among 53 lots at the Acuitus sale on 16 February. The Alliance pub forms part of a three-floor building with consent for five flats on the upper floors and generates £108,500 pa. The sale will be held at the Radisson Blu Portman Hotel, W1.


Roses to resi at Loveitts sale 

A former garden centre in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, with residential potential sold for £106,000 at Loveitts’ 2 February sale, which raised £1.6m from 22 lots and had a success rate of 78%.
