The rooms are guided at £120,000, and are located in Monty Hall, a three-storey student accommodation block in Whalley Range, Manchester. They will be one of 30 lots to be offered at the auction, for which online bids will be taken from 7 to 14 May.
Paul Fosh sells Art Deco lot
An Art Deco-style 1930s house in Blackwood, Caerphilly, Wales, was the star lot at the most recent Paul Fosh auction. The three-bedroom house was the most viewed Welsh property online last year, but failed to sell on Zoopla. It was guided at £170,000 but sold for £200,000, and was one of 52 lots sold, which raised £3.6m and reflected an 80% success rate. The auction took place on 2 April at The Park Inn hotel, Cardiff.
Brendons sale hits 79%
Brendons Auctioneers raised £4m at its most recent sale on 15 April – a 79% success rate. Of 14 lots offered, 11 sold. A three-bedroom terraced house in Upper Holloway, N19, was sold on behalf of a Treasury solicitor and bought by a private buyer for £626,000.
Sutton Kersh raises £5.1m
A three-storey, semi-detached residential property on Croxteth Road in Liverpool offered on behalf of a housing association was one of the top lots at Merseyside auctioneer Sutton Kersh’s recent sale. The three-storey semi sold for more than £160,000 over its guide price at £550,000. The sale raised £5.1m off of a 54% success rate, and took place on 16 April at the Crowne Plaza, Liverpool.
Cottons scores at Aston Villa
Birmingham-based Cottons raised £5.1m at its sale on 16 April, selling 38 of the 55 lots on offer – a 70% success rate. The residential-led auction was held at Aston Villa FC, Birmingham.
