LSH Belfast raises £8.8m

Lambert Smith Hampton’s first year of Irish auctions raised £8.8m from two sales, at which 135 lots sold, reflecting an average success rate of 92%. The first LSH Belfast auction of 2015 will take place on 19 March at the Europa Hotel, Belfast.


£2.8m for Harman Healy

Harman Healy raised £2.8m at its final auction of the year on 4 December at Kensington Town Hall, W8. Of the 56 lots offered, 29 sold, reflecting a 52% success rate. It was the company’s lowest success rate of the year,
during which it raised £39.8m in total.


Pugh December auction Leeds

Pugh & Co achieved a success rate of 80% in its Yorkshire & North East auction held at Leeds United Football Club on 2 December. Some 41 lots sold raising £2.5m. A retail, office and residential ground rent investment at 145 The Headrow, in Leeds city centre, sold at the guide price of £450,000.


Eddisons London takes £2.4m

Eddisons London raised a total of £2.4m at its 4 December sale, where eight out of 14 lots offered sold, reflecting a 58% success rate. Among the highlights was a freehold comprising eight self-contained flats in Coventry, West Midlands, which sold for £637,000, reflecting an 11.9% yield. The auction took place at
the Crown Plaza hotel, EC4.

CPBigwood relocates

Auctioneer CPBigwood has ended the year with a relocation, moving from offices on Naoroji Street, EC1, to King William Street, EC4. Ian Smallman, partner in the residential service charge department, said: “The new base is in a more central London location, which will be even better for clients and staff alike.” The firm moved on 1 December.
