A former toilet block on the seafront at Margate, Kent, is being offered with a guide price of £30,000 at Clive Emson’s next sale on 2 November, at Kent County Show Ground. The building is being sold by Thanet district council.

Brum auction raises £1m
Auction House Birmingham and Black Country raised £1.1m at its latest sale, with an 82% success rate. The 15 October auction, at Walsall Football Club, saw 11 lots offered with nine sold in the room.

Liverpool library lot offered
A vacant Grade II listed former public library in Woollen Village in Liverpool is being offered on behalf of the Liverpool city council at Sutton Kersh’s next sale on 29 October at the Marriott Hotel, Liverpool. There is a new 125-year lease, and a requirement to refurbish within the first 24 months.

London terrace on offer
Auction House London is offering a Grade II-listed terrace in Marylebone, NW1, for £7m at its 27 October sale at the Landmark London hotel, NW1. The building’s six flats produce an income of £245,000 pa. Also on offer is a 4,494 sq ft site guided at £4.5m with planning permission for 180 student beds, 84 flats and offices in Luton, Bedfordshire.

Sell-out auction for Bagshaws
Bagshaws Uttoxeter sold all seven lots at its most recent sale on 14 October at Uttoxeter Racecourse. The total amount raised was £570,000.
