AspinallVerdi makes senior hire amid Cambridge expansion plans

Property regeneration consultant AspinallVerdi has appointed Mathew Forster as head of UK land and development agency.

The move comes as the firm looks to establish an office in Cambridgeshire, amid continued expansion of pipeline in the region, including its work with Cambridge City Council and South Cambridgeshire District Council on viability testing of the North East Cambridgeshire area action plan.

It is also involved in drafting plans for Lowestoft town centre, acting on behalf of East Suffolk District Council.

Forster will be charged with establishing a hub in the region, focusing on growing the development agency business for the firm with public and private sector clients nationally.

Forster has previously served as head of strategic land of central and eastern counties with Allison Homes. He was also a partner and head of residential development for the eastern region at Carter Jonas and associate in the development and planning team at Strutt & Parker.

Atam Verdi, chairman and co-founder of AspinallVerdi, said: “Although AspinallVerdi has always provided agency services to clients, Mathew’s appointment means we can further grow this service line for them.

“With a mature network of contacts in the East of England, Mathew will also assist us with increasing our client base in this region.”
