Andrews & Robertson raise £16.7m at final auction

Andrews & Robertson finished the year with an 87% success rate at its December sale, which raised £16.7m.

A house in Richmond, TW9, with planning permission for conversion to two two-bedroom flats sold for £750,000, while a five-bedroom house in Dulwich, SE22, sold for £852,500.

Income-producing lots included a high street investment in Norwood, SE19, made up of a ground-floor shop and basement office let to a hairdressing business and ground rents on three self-contained flats above. It produces income of £31,750 per annum and sold for £411,000, a yield of 7.73%.

In Coulsdon, Surrey, a ground-floor café with a flat above was sold with planning permission to build a one-bedroom detached bungalow on land to the rear. The flat produces £15,000 in rent per annum and the café £6,000. The lot sold for £398,000, a yield of 5.28%.
