Andrew Mears passes away

Andrew Mears, partner and joint head of capital markets at Gerald Eve, has died.

Prior to joining Gerald Eve in 2014, Mears had been one of the founding partners of HP Four, where he worked between 2005 and 2014.

After graduating from Sheffield Hallam University in 1992, Mears worked at the Welsh Development Agency for two years before joining Hillier Parker and CBRE where he rose to become head of UK business space investment.

Simon Prichard, senior partner at Gerald Eve, said: “It is with great sadness that we confirm the passing of our colleague, Andrew Mears. Andrew was a partner, a friend and one of life’s good guys who contributed to the entire firm and will be greatly missed by us all. Our thoughts are with his widow, Julie, and their three children.”

Andrew’s funeral will be held at 1.30pm on Wednesday 8 November at the church of St Peter and St Paul in Tring, HP23 5AE. All will be welcome to attend.
