The former office agency head at Donaldsons will work alongside John Dillon and newly appoionted Birmingham office and agency teams head Ian Kibble.

McChesney will be responsible for raising LSH’s profile and business development opportunities with property owners and landlords.

LSH director John Dillon said: “The current oversupply of office space in the city centre is putting pressure on landlords, who are all vying for occupiers’ attention.

“It is imperative that LSH has the edge when it comes to winning those property instructions in what is a highly competitive market and Alastair’s previous experience will play a crucial role in securing these wins.”

There is currently over 3m sq ft of available office space in Birmingham city centre.
