AHL offers chance to net Spurs founder’s former home

A Grade II listed end-of-terrace house once lived in by Bobby Buckle, one of the founders and the first captain of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, is to be offered in Auction House London’s first sale of the year.

The property, at the prestigious address of 7 White Hart Lane, was also the first postal address registered for the Premier League giant.

Offered with a guide price of £450,000+, the property is currently arranged as two self-contained flats and, according to the auctioneer, “requires refurbishment”.

However, it is already drawing interest from Spurs fans.

“How’s this for a piece of history?” tweeted former Tottenham midfielder Micky Hazard. “Maybe we could all put in £1 and buy it.”

The property will be one of 113 lots to be offered by Auction House London at its sale on 12 February at the London Marriott Hotel Regents Park, NW3.
