Aerospheres lands at Prologis Park Hemel Hempstead

Prologis UK has agreed a prelet for the DC9 facility at its industrial estate in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.

Aerospheres, a supplier of consumables to the aviation industry, has committed to a 10-year lease on the 74,770 sq ft facility, which is under construction. Located near the M1 and M25 motorways, the building will provide a new operational hub for the business.

DC9 features flexible mezzanine spaces, outdoor terraces and external amenity spaces. It has achieved EPC A+ and BREEAM Outstanding ratings.

Paul Thompson, chief executive at Aerospheres, said: “This building will provide us with the capacity we need to expand our operations and continue to provide our customers with the highest level of service.”

Robin Woodbridge, head of capital deployment at Prologis UK, said: “The prelet of DC9 demonstrates the ongoing appeal of our developments to forward-looking businesses that need modern, flexible space to grow. Aerospheres plays an essential role in keeping the aviation industry running smoothly, and we are proud that they have chosen to expand their operations with us.”
