A2Dominion buys 370-home Hayes site from CBRE GI

A2Dominion has bought the Fairview Business Centre in Hayes, west London, from CBRE Global Investors.

The housing association bought the site without planning, though pre-application discussions with Hillingdon council and a feasibility study indicate it could accommodate up to 370 homes.

The site was being offered with a price tag of in excess £20m.

The 4.3-acre site is a five-minute walk from the Crossrail station at Hayes and Harlington, set to open next year.

Adam Cradick, senior director, CBRE UK Development, said: “The disposal of Fairview Business Centre presents an opportunity to deliver new homes in an area that is set to benefit from major infrastructure improvements via the new Crossrail station.

“The sale underlines how investment in improving London’s transport infrastructure continues to drive regeneration in greater London boroughs and acts as a catalyst for delivering much-needed housing in more affordable parts of London.”

CBRE Greater London Development was appointed to advise on the disposal of the site.
