MIPIM: Birmingham has unveiled a new interactive 3D map at MIPIM in a bid to attract more foreign investment into the city.
The map and fly-through video covers the city centre enterprise zone, which includes 26 key development sites. This EZ, one of six economic zones, aims to create 1.8m sq ft of new floor space, unlocking £1.5bn of investment.
The map uses the latest technology to render the smallest details of Birmingham’s city centre in 3D and will be used to present the city to potential investors.
The video showcases a number of the map’s key features, including the outlines of the city’s economic zone sites. Birmingham plans to roll out similar maps and videos for the five other economic zones in the city.
