Last update 9 December 2009:
The VOA carries out a revaluation of all rateable values in England and Wales every five years. The next official list comes into force on 1 April 2010. In advance of this, a draft list of rateable values for all commercial properties in England and Wales, provided by the VOA, is now available on EGi. This draft list has been published in advance to allow 6 months for valuations to be checked by the occupiers before it comes into effect. You can use the EGi ratings tool to:
Search for rateable values by location, property use type, range of values and effective dates. Compare the changes to a property's rateable value between 1990 and 2010. View valuation office details, property description and a breakdown summary in one report. Download reports to Excel for easy comparison of assessments.Find out more about EGi rating list
