Fulham Football Club is planning to create a riverside walkway with shops and restaurants as part of its stadium extension plans.
The club’s plans to extend Craven Cottage include redeveloping the Riverside stand into a new two-tiered stand with a walkway along the edge of the River Thames.
The new stand would increase the stadium’s capacity by 4,300 to 30,000 and would also include up to 15,000 sq ft of shops and restaurants along the banks of the river.
Four high-end flats would be built into the corners of the stand to help pay for the project.
The plans have been submitted to Hammersmith & Fulham council.
